SINGLE STOP PROGRAM COORDINATOR--Goddard Riverside Community Center--Goddard Riverside Community Center Single Stop Program Coordinator (bilingual) Goddard Riverside Community Center seeks applicants for the job of Program Coordinator of our new Single Stop Program, available immediately. Following a model developed by the Robin Hood Foundation, Single Stop will provide low-income individuals and families living on the Upper West Side and in Harlem with comprehensive case management services including entitlements counseling, financial counseling, legal advice, and information and referrals on many topics including child care, housing, education, job training, employment, and substance abuse services. Job Responsibilities: Ø Provide overall supervision for the planning and implementation of Single Stop at Goddard Riverside. Ø Supervise day-to-day operations of Single Stop in order to meet all program goals, including outreach to serve 300 clients in the first year. Ø Become expert in the Single Stop model including the tools utilized such as the Self-Sufficiency Calculator, Client Assessment Tool, and Database management. Ø Work directly with individuals and families. Ø Train case management staff working in other Goddard Riverside programs to use the model and tools as appropriate to their particular program site. Ø Establish an outreach network of colleagues, programs, service providers, government agencies, politicians and policy makers, lay community leaders, religious leaders, and others considered essential to providing Single Stop services and increasing community awareness of the program. Ø Lead community workshops. Ø Supervise part-time workers and social work interns. Requirements for the Position: Must be fluent in Spanish and English; MSW or equivalent; 5 years experience in individual and group work; great interpersonal skills; excellent computer skills including familiarity with database programs.
